When you start using a new computer it is fast and usually impresses you as a big change from your previous machine.  However sometimes you are disappointed at its relatively paltry increase in speed.  Also over time your machine gets bogged down, and after a few months you may be wondering if it is worth computing at all considering how long it takes to do anything.

If you would like to dispense with graphics (which is itself a speed strategy for faster Web surfing) try the all text version.
